It means there is a break in the coil winding somewhere. Tug on each strand and see if you can pull one of them away from the lug. As log as the break is close to the lug, its repairable, just unwind it one turn, sand off the coating and resolder t to the lug. D

OK, not sure if gtb is the same as wpc, but if the coin door is open in test the coil power is cut off. Run the test again and close the door just to make sure. If the coil still isn't working, put the game into attract mode and test for voltage at each lug of the coil to ground. Dmm on DC...

Start by taking all the balls out of the game, and put it into switch test. Then drop a ball into the trough and you should see it register each of the trough opto's, and as long as thats ok you know all the emitters and receivers are working. Then you need to confirm what switches are doing...

I would start with the ball trough, and then check the ball lock switches. Something is not registering properly. Adam's suggestion is also valid. If they are backwards the game will be confused and could try to kick 2 balls out as it's seeing too many in the trough under those conditions. D
