Re: Cost for an operator to put a single machine on location
Really, they never asked me about that, and I mentioned it specifically the last time I renewed. Not even a special rider for them on the contents insurance, and no specific limit. I asked if it fell under "collectibles" and no, it...
How are the adjustments for the monger? Are there set screws to raise/lower the front/back, or are you adjusting cam/switch positions? I had some similar problems with the ringmaster on CV, but I think that was more because it had three different positions.
I have to wonder with something...
Congrats on the new games-TZ is a pain to move, but the good news is that you only have to do it once (cause once you have one, it'll probably never leave). Small price to pay for that awesome a game.
I miss the standard "FU' pics from Wong's pin moves-truly a horriffic basement to move games into. It's nice when you can factor pinball into your moves!
I actually picked one up for my 2 year old, but that's mostly because I wanted to be able to set something up for him to play that he didn't need a stool for, and that was easier to reach the buttons on. I actually took it off the stock legs and just have it on a box at the moment since it's...
So it looks like these are actually starting to ship out to people based on pinside, so spooky would be one of the first of the recent "boutique" manufacturers to actually ship a game. Say what you will about the quality of the game, but the fact that they have something that they can start...
Judging by the holes, probably a spot for Smaug to grab a ball where the longer hole is, and maybe stash a ball in the other saucer? Still looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Ah, good to know-thanks! I don't think I'd bother buying a new PF for my CV, since I think the minor dings on mine could be repaired by someone with some skill pretty easily. Besides, it plays just fine right now, and that's all that matters.
I actually like that the mist can stick balls together-one of those things that can only happen in pinball when things are just that little bit of extra random. I've had the same thing happen on Spider-Man with the second Doc Ock multiball.
Neat idea-I'm sure it doesn't come with them, but it'd be nice if they added the option to swap in colour changing LEDs like they have in the Premium/LE.
So it does improve a pre-DCS game? I thought it'd be a more minimal improvement on those as opposed to newer stuff? In any case, for those that have wired 2 games to the same sub, how does it work if both are going at once? More risk of blowing out the speaker, or is the effect completely...
Are these worth getting? I already have a FF kit in LOTR, and it sounds pretty amazing, but I was thinking of trying to add this to SM/XM (if I can do 2 games on a sub).
Seems like an odd choice, but if they have more people colorizing games, then that could very well accelerate the pace. Really surprised that we haven't seen IJ or TZ yet.
But will happily ship a game that isn't finished in the first place! :)
Although there is something to be said for live beta testing with early buyers/players. If they're listening to player feedback, a game could change dramatically from release to "final". Look at the many iterations of X-Men.
Installed the 2 missing target decals on SM last night (the sandman ones). Huge pain in the ass to get at these from the top, but significantly easier to just remove the target from the bottom and get it that way. That Back Alley building mod definitely makes it more time consuming to...
I was actually wondering the same thing myself. I don't think so, since these kinds of batteries are used all over the place, and I haven't heard of one leaking, although I have seen them die on things like a PC motherboard. Does anyone bother changing these?
