Looking good-apparently anyone with a preorder can switch up to the Smaug LE for free? Just emailed SB checking whether I can switch. I like the side art on the Smaug cabinet, but I'd like to see what the gold Smaug toy looks like before deciding for sure. Still no updates on production dates...

Wow, those look pretty substantial for foamcore prototypes :) Seriously though, it'll be amazing if this is actually showing off a completed magic girl. I don't think they've started building the production games yet, but it'll be great to finally see what he's been working on all this time.

Ended up going with start for cable. 60 down, 10 up, unlimited bandwidth for 80 bucks a month. Also canceled landline phone and am in the process of porting number to voip.ms. Means instead of paying 48 bucks a month for a phone I barely use, I pay 2.50 a month for a DID and e911, plus a cent...

Well I learned something today-I had no idea that the interlock switches on those games turned the entire machine off. Look at it this way-you'll NEVER make that mistake again :)

The custom sized LCD is what gets me here-that can't be a cheap part to source (always the reason that the colorDMD displays have been standard AR screens).

Looking good-so 70 or so games in the barn, plus whatever ends up in the "annex" that'll inevitably be the current basement space :) Now the only problem is going to be filling up that room. Once this is paid for, be prepared for Adam to start buying just about everything.

You know that the power supply is getting juice, but what about the lines coming out of it? Does anything change if you unplug connectors from the power supply to the rest of the game, and put them back one at a time? Without schematics it's a guess as to what goes where. Someone around here...
