    America's Most Haunted Promo Video

I saw that PAPA had one now-looking forward to seeing more of this game. It actually looks like a fun machine-anyone up here decided to get in on one?

The Future Of Pinball is coming - Virtual Reality Pinball

Re: The Future Of Pinball is coming - Virtual Reality Pinbal Head tracking and 3d would be great for this-I wonder if the pinball arcade folks are going to officially support Oculus when they actually release a consumer version of the rift?

The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

Impressive-how many pieces does that Lost World game split into? I remember that one being a pretty good gun game.

    IFPA Events in Canada

The search on http://www.ifpapinball.com/calendar/ is pretty good from the looks of things, although there's at least one event missing from the list that i know of. Coming up in the next month though: -Walking Dead Launch party (Oct 10) -Toronto Project pinball charity tournament (Oct 18)...

My ST Pro Refinery Edition- props to seller Quarter Grabber

Re: My ST Pro Refinery Edition- props to seller Quarter Grab The game is definitely growing on me, that's for sure, and that refinery edition looks really nice. I like the side rails and the alt translite-almost looks better than the LE. I don't think I'd move something out to get one of them...

MMR setup at Texas Pinball Festival (gameplay video too)

That's a good look at some of the tech for the game if nothing else. I like the idea on the LED boards. They've also got some video on the website of a shaker test with the driver board mounted under the PF, and it looks like they've pulled off the design. We'll see how it fares in the wild...

    Stern's "THE WALKING DEAD" pinball

Is that a new design on the magnet to make it stronger, or less likely to mushroom?

    Stern's "THE WALKING DEAD" pinball

Looks like a good start-so both ramps can divert to either side, plus the left one lifts up on the LE for a bash toy? The crossbow on the LE looks a little like the austin powers cannon (but bigger). I've never seen the show, but a comic artwork package was probably too much to ask. That LE...

Pinball Arcade next game is BSD

Looks like lightning flippers on there, so probably?

Credit Dot Pinball: The Update Thread

In that last post, you mentioned this: Wasn't Avengers the next game after X-Men? I'm pretty sure that X-Men was June 2012, and then Avengers was Dec 2012. Not sure that a baseball theme would work or not work, but it's probably an uphill battle for most pinheads. People will buy a great...

Lastest from Stern on LEDs and future game versions

So does this mean that all future LEDs will be board mounted? I suppose socketed LED bulbs don't make much sense for inserts if you can save on having to put the sockets there in the first place, but it does suck if one of those LEDs dies. They last a whole lot longer, sure, but not forever...

    Greetings

We've got fun and games! Another great way to get to play a whole pile of different games is to come out to some TOPL nights. Even if you're not a great player, the league is still a great excuse to socialize and play pinball every Monday.

Pinball Life: Tron Arcade Mod 4.0 Now Available

Is it just me, or does every iteration of this mod get more expensive? Wasn't the original a $50 change to the original cab that was in there?

FS NGG Slam Ramp + more Decals $25

Re: NGG Slam Ramp more Decals $25 I like the look of those-you don't have a pic of those installed yet, do you?

New Star Trek Code is finally out

Very nice-looking forward to trying this out at the next TOPL night! Does the Captain's Chair actually do anything yet? Getting 3 in a row didn't seem to actually award anything before...

    Interest Check: Atari 800XL w/drives + games

Re: Interest Check: Atari 800XL w/drives games That is a throwback. Never owned an atari 800, but I had a lot of the same stuff on c64, including that same joystick. Good times.

    Stern's "THE WALKING DEAD" pinball

Re: Sterns next pin is.... So I guess this kills the rumor that it'd be based on the comics? I'm a few volumes behind on those, and haven't watched the show, so no real interest in this from theme alone, but we'll see how the game looks. I think the only thing we can say for absolute certain...

Rule of thumb when replacing a fuse with a breaker?

That's good to know-thanks! I suppose the way that you'd really tell what's going on is to wire up a meter to the circuit and see what the actual current is going through the breaker at any given time. If something is fused at 5a, is it typically going to run at 3-4a, or will it be up around...

Rule of thumb when replacing a fuse with a breaker?

I've used a mini circuit breaker in the past soldered to a burnt out fuse in order to track down problems. This is a really valuable tool, except that I haven't always used the same amperage breaker as the fuse. Last time I went with a 4a breaker for a 5a fuse just because that's what I had...
