Design, Build, Play - Collaborators wanted - London

I've been thinking about doing this for a while too, but time is definitely the biggest issue here. I can barely keep up with maintaining and playing the games I already have, let alone designing one from scratch. Still, it's a really cool project, and my wife is actually just as interested in...

    Germany Bitches!

Have fun-you should try to go visit PinGeorge from maaca while you're there.

    Off to see the wizard...

This is probably the best thing they're doing for the consumer. That being said though, I think the cabs on the LE are clearcoated, and they're not on the standard, but other than that, it's basically armor, topper, shaker, and invisiglass, right?

    Stern AVENGERS: NOW IN STOCK!

That is some cool stuff right there-I like the extra figures.

    High Scores

Dammit, usually 1.5 billion on WhiteWater would be awesome, but some asshole has just over 1.6 billion as GC on my machine :) Thought I had it last night after I hit Vacation Jackpot, but not quite. Worst thing was, I had 5x playfield lined up again, and was just working towards another MB on...

    to Xmen pro owners

Is it just that the priority on Wolverine is much higher than everything else, so that if Wolverine is running (or there's a Wolverine sample), it'll play before another one? I had the same problem with nightcrawler on the old code, so I don't think that'll be it. If I had to guess, I'd say...

    to Xmen pro owners

I haven't noticed anything particularly unstable (other than some strange audio callouts)-no need to go back to the old version without the stacking. Nice challenge trying to start all the X-Men modes at once.

Make the big red button a "view new posts" link

Good idea, but yeah, the view first unread post function needs to work first :)

    3d printers

Does anyone have any experience with 3d printers? These keep coming down in price and getting better capabilities-I wonder when they'll get to the point where you can print pinball parts with them? Just read about the CubeX that can print stuff the size of a basketball? I really wonder what...

    New Mod: Stern Magnet Decals!

Just thought of another one last night-Cirqus Voltaire. Two exposed magnets on that one (loop and mini PF) that could get covered up. The one up by the juggler isn't too obvious, but the one up by the high wire lock could look good with a decal.

    Avengers

So any word on what Premium pricing for this is going to be?

    Off to see the wizard...

Really...I figured this would have been figured out long ago in the O/S that they were working on. From what I understand, WOZ is basically running on a linux based PC, correct? I kind of figured that part of the delay in getting the game to market was the time it would take to create a...

    Off to see the wizard...

Finally got a chance to try this out yesterday, and it doesn't really play all that well. I knew the software wasn't finished, but the way this played, it felt like it wasn't even started. There was a multiball, but that's about it-not much to shoot at all. The upper flipper also didn't seem...

    FT Possibly WTT-CV...

So I'm thinking about trading my CV for something new. I'd like to change things up, and don't have a bunch of free cash at the moment for pins, but if I lose CV, I'd like to get something else on my wish list in return. Not really interested in selling outright, but if you're interested in...

    More pinburgh 2012 videos

Ah, that's what I figured-so it's just a tournament convention. Did they just find that with 3 balls people just ignored the gumball altogether? I suppose that the other extreme would be one ball in the machine, but that would make it way too easy to get PBM over and over again. If nothing...

    More pinburgh 2012 videos

Just started watching this video from last year's pinburgh-there's a great game on TZ at the start of it, and I learned a few things about strategy on this game that I want to try out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvgnzLYOajE&feature=player_embedded One thing that seemed strange though-why...

    High Scores

A quick game on TZ the other day ended up taking 20 minutes to end up with this (and get the GC score back on it): Not quite as good as the 1.5 I managed before I pulled the board out to test Star Trek, but still not bad. A crappy LITZ meant not ending up with more points, but the notable...

    Stern AVENGERS: NOW IN STOCK!

Wouldn't surprise me. I'm pretty sure it's fair use to create something like that for personal use, but as soon as you start selling it, that's when it's dicey. Laseriffic seems to have been OK with doing toppers based on just about every other license out there though, so maybe they actually...

    DYI metal ramps? :o

You'd certainly change the look of the game, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I can't say that I've ever seen someone do this though.
