Well,
Gerry seems to have gone on vacation this summer, but I just wanted to post and thank him again for the work it takes to bring much appreciated pinball stock to us from across the sea.
I had originally intended to set up my 3 container pins within a week or two of getting them. Well... I...
Re: Possible BSD for sale - any interest? Can deliver to Ott
Don't ask foolish questions
Sorry about that.
I've already commited to a number with the interested parties that is lower than what I originally wanted for the machine. For that reason I will leave it at that for now. Should...
Re: Possible BSD for sale - any interest? Can deliver to Ott
And the final cabinet.
I already have a few guys interested that are coming by to see it this week.
I'll re-post this as a proper FS ad if it doesn't sell.
Thanks.
Re: Possible BSD for sale - any interest? Can deliver to Ott
Also, the playfield had some bubbling mylar just between the flippers that had started to mess with the inserts.
I removed it all and touched up as necessary. Also added red lightning flippers to make it right. Some small...
Re: Possible BSD for sale - any interest? Can deliver to Ott
So.... several people have been asking to see this pin.
I finally got it set up over the weekend. Here are some shots.
First, this is what it looked like when I first got it. A really bad attempt at colouring back in the red on the...
This post has made me realize that not having a serious want list kinda sucks.
Hunting down games is part of the fun and I have to say I miss that a bit.
Sure, there are a few titles that would pique my interest if they came up, maybe a nice Gottlieb Countdown, T2 or even a Centaur... but...
You forgot to list yours ;)
Well, I'm probably in the "Done" category and only at the stage where I am testing out the occasional title that I'm curious about, but likley won't keep it.
I got most of my keepers long ago and added a few new ones recently... so I'm past capacity already.
But, if...
Sorry for the weird FS post.
I picked up this player condition BSD not too long ago with a bunch of other pins.
Love the game but my recent move has left me with too many projects and little space.
BSD is one of the few games that is fully working so I'm debating moving it out for now...
Re: Judge Dredd for sale
Congrats!
I helped my brother pick up a JD (thanks to Warlock) for my nephew's college grad gift.
I played a ton of it last weekend and it is a seriously fun game with tons to do.
Once things settle down and I unload a few projects, I would seriously consider adding...
I think HS is a great game. A litte older and the price will reflect that... but that also calls into question the condition and a perfectly working one (or a reliable one) could set you back a little more. Pinside values are not always accurate or may reflect the US market. I think HS typically...
And yes, removing those two screws on the rectangular plate holding the lock will make the headbox lock just fall right out. Easy access.
Won't help with your coin door though :(
yep... sounds the the backbox key may be stored behind the coin door. That sucks :(
Oh well, drill away.
There is a product you can use to help lubricate the lock (Graphite Powdered Lubricant). It could help and not as messy as WD40.
But I think you;d be okay to use the WD40 anyway... as long...
Damn. Just placed an order with Kerry for some TOTAN parts.
Oh well... I'm not exactly local anyway :)
Kerry has some great stuff that's even better than original.
Hey!
Welcome. Good to have another voice on the forums.
I sorta like Warlock's approach. If your budget is anywhere close to a new in box Stern LE, I would consider a couple of used games or, even as suggested, one from each era.
A very nice electromechanical from the 70's will run you...
Congrats! Love me some Congo.
Dibs? :D
Let's see.....
I finally got Black Hole to start a game and its playing great. Then I proceeded to set up my container High Speed from Gerry's last shipment.
The displays are blown (as I knew) but the rest of the game was immaculate... so what the hell...
Okay,
Well... depending on when Doug gets his done, that could work. I will be restoring both either way.
I just want the simplicity of a direct swap.
If anyone has (or will have) one sooner, I'm still listening ;)
Hi,
As the title says... looking for a shadow playfield.
I'm okay with one that needs some restoration. I'm considering a TS restore down the road and would love to first have a playfield ready for an easier swap.
Let me know what you got?
Thanks,
Adriano
