Hey Dave!

Can you explain to me a bit more about what has been done (and by whom) for LED patches?

I have a few WPC games in that era, one being STTNG which I am "going" to convert to LED soon enough. Also, would the new STTNG CPU ROM support the special sound / speech roms?

I have the ROM patcher software. I think it was created by a pinhead, and it "corrects" the lamp matrix code timing to operate like the later WPC95 code. By doing this it eliminates the ghosting effects on the earlier WPC games.

Okay so I should just go ahead and do LEDs and see how it turns out before buying a new rom.. Thanks! Havn't done it yet which was why I was asking.
