Enjoyed the show today, nice to get a chance to play King Kong, D&D and Evil Dead. My only suggestion would to space out the games a bit as lots of wasted space in the middle and no need to have everyone packed in between the games. Hope the show continues.

I also went today.
I didn't want to wait to play ED or KK.
I tossed a $ in the donation box.

The Als Garage Band was great to play, and a sweet restore, but I didn't care for the flipper vibration during play.

I was hoping for more recent OOP Sterns.
Also found the middle of the area a but odd.

It's a learning curve,
Next time the food seating needs to be somewhere not in the middle of the floor, that also added garbage and more work with garbage I am sure.
I like the vendors along the walls.
Personally, I like the VFW style with long back to back lines and around the outer wall.

Felt like less pins, more arcade games this time.
But overall felt smaller than last year.

I appreciate what you are doing for all of us in the hobby.
If my work schedule is agreeable next year, I will commit to bring one pin. I can't guarantee 2 days.

The spacing problem will be fixed next year, the plan was 3 rows but the permanent placement of the dropped power lines meant we couldn't.
But we didn't think of moving the longer 2 rows farther apart, which left that big eating area but congestion in the tournament area.

I think we like this layout, and with the tweaks that got learned today, it should be much better.

Neither Dave nor myself do tournaments and therefore underestimated the space for those waiting their turn or just watching.

Keep ideas coming though please.....im already thinking of how to incorporate some evening pinball playing for the campers outside of the building.

I feel that we just need to represent.
You collect pins,
You like going to a show.
Support it.
Bring what you like to play.
Show off to the world all those cool mods that you chose for your 'baby'

I didn't take my HM last year to sell, I took it to show the community.
I am proud of my machines and the work I have put into them.
Show plays are just other fans showing that they want to play my machine and not give it a pass.

As for space....
Mom would always make a scale model on paper and have cut out pieces of paper of her scaled furniture to find the optional placement. (Crazy, but it worked)

And the camping spots are way more professional then I could ever have imagined. So nice to just walk 30 seconds to all my stuff and rest if I wish. Lots of power and water, great bathrooms,....

Two people came back after supper to my truck and said if they had only known

Great show again this year. If you didn't go yesterday maybe this will entice you to check it out today...

Liked and subscribed! Thanks for taking and posting that walk through video. Looks like a good turn out and good time too.

Thanks Dave and team for a great show! :)

I must admit it was the first time that I've been at a show where it was...err...freezing!

I packed my game at 3 so that I would (try to) arrive at a "decent" hour in Ottawa. I got in the house at half past midnight.

My machine performed well w/o too many issues. I was concerned about the Ramp Mod as a missed shot can get the ball lodged between the wireform and time machine left plastic. It happened during the Friday setup so I regularly went to check it out all weekend. It only happened once: 10 minutes before I folded it on Sunday . Also had to replace the coil stops on Sunday morning. Luckily parts were available onsite!

IC using wi-fi was pretty much "hit or miss". It disconnected a few times to which I reset it, but at one point, it stopped working completely. I think there was too much activity. It was the same thing with the P1 row of games. worked early and then just stopped.

I did run some stats though... I checked the audits on my machine and it got 141 plays on Saturday (avg 17.625 games per hour) and 84 plays on Sunday (16.8 games per hour).

All in all a nice fun weekend.

With the sheer number of Beatles and SW that P1 had in stock when I bought NiB, I am surprised I don't see them.
There are just so many SW items you could use for mods.
I love to see how people customize their tables.
