A little surprised to see Elevator Action there - compared to Robotron the gameplay is sooo sloowww.

Is there any truth the story about the kids dying playing Berzerk or is that just BS?

I call BS. A heart attack or myocardial infarction is caused by lack of oxygen to a section of heart muscle typically as a result of a complete blockage of one of the major cardiac arteries. Unless the kid had a preexisting heart condition, it would seem highly unlikely.

One of the two cases has been pretty much ruled as bogus, the other has been confirmed as legit but the autopsy showed the kid had 2 week old scar tissue around is heart indicating he had a heart attack and playing the game pushed him over the edge.

There was a third indirect death years later (!988) where a kid was stabbed to death after being accused of stealing another kids quarter (to play Berzerk no less).
