Re: there is a ghost in the machine. Dedicated switch issue I screwed around with wires and connectors at the coin door. The issue seems to be gone for now. I'll keep you posted.

I am starting to think that maybe this is a software revision thing. I noticed I am l-1 revision and it looks like an early version. I am thinking upgrading to l-5 may fix the issue. Let me know your thoughts.

Oh and the only reason I haven't replaced the triac yet is because they are not supposed to fail and I don't have any on hand. I have to wait until Monday to hit up the local electronics shop anyway, so it gives me some time to think before doing something drastic.
