Was pretty obvious they didn't have a clue nor cared about anything other than promoting their show, but at least we got a really cool event out of it, that they paid cold hard cash to make happen. I got to show up and play for free, so it was all good :). I don't believe any hobbyist was taken...

You would have thought they'd lead off with the LEs to sell to the the Mustang owners. This is a weird launch for certain.

I wish Gary would retire already so George can take over. George is not young either, I think he's 57, so its not like he'll have a long window being on top either. GG is speaking for the company in these vids, not as designer.

Visited the house again with contractors today for the last time before we close on the house feb 28. -Electricians will be adding additional wall outlets on dedicated breakers to allow all the pins to operate without a problem. -Old light fixtures will be removed and new pot lights added...

Star Trek won me over when I actually got to play one. That said, there will be more pins released in 2014 than possibly any time in many decades. If some of them are easy passes, we should be happy.

After the roller coaster ride that was the Star Trek release (which proved ultimately to be a great game), I reserve judgment.

Yeah, this whole announcing announcements thing is a bad trend.

Considering how bad a secret this seemed to be, I have to put weight into the "Haunted House" rumour that has gone along with it. I have no opinion about that as a theme, just stating that the rumour mill was correct on PL.

That's what happens when something gets overhyped, the blowback is inevitable. They should have made less of a deal about it, or said nothing until after Hobbit and have a game that was very far along and close to production to trot out.

Why they hyped this announcement all week and called it epic I don't know. Ok, Pat has a job now for a game we'll see mid to late 2015. We're in January 2014.

Sometimes the upscaling looks nice, like Tron, but on this I would stick with dots.

As long as you stay away from NIBs which lose some value when you open then up, you can buy/sell/trade several used games over the next year, get to enjoy a bunch, and not be out any real money.
