Got my ship notifications yesterday, should have my accessories in a little less than a week - very stoked to get everything installed

I was disappointed the band didn't do the call outs on this game like Metallica...funny guys, shame.Same!
Seeing them installed on machines in the US has me excited...
1.02 dropped today with some bug fixes and some more speech.
Love the polish the team is putting on this title.
My topper had issues too. Head worked but all the other lights didn’t. I took the back plate off and there were 2 boards in there. Researed all the connections and it worked. I was shocked by how much electronics were in that topper.Had a minor heart attack last night installing my kit. Got the expression lights in, no issue. But holy shit, someone at stern must be related to a ferrite seller, I have never installed so many ferrites on one device. I got the topper on, again no issues, Ive done about 8 or 9 of them now. Wired it up and fired it up. Nothing. I did a reboot, nothing. I updated the code (I was one version behind) and then I got the lights working, but the head wasnt turning. Before full panic, I turned it off, unplugged and reseated the CAT5 and power cable, fired it back up and JOY ! Very weird, but happy to have it all installed !
Check out my FF topper I've been working on. I managed to integrate the Expression Light signal into it.Hoping someone makes a decent after market topper for FF. $3k CDN is just stupid for a head that moves and some lit up plastics.
That's amazing! Are you willing to share how you were able to tie in the expression light signal? Would it be possible to do for other games without the EL installed? Would love to be able to do that on my LZ topper as well. Cheers.Check out my FF topper I've been working on. I managed to integrate the Expression Light signal into it.
Ive updated it since that video too.
I started a thread on pinside about it with more pics. That's amazing! Are you willing to share how you were able to tie in the expression light signal? Would it be possible to do for other games without the EL installed? Would love to be able to do that on my LZ topper as well. Cheers.
Yeah, that is a neat product.Eddie over at pinballleds.ca has various controllers such as this 12V light control switch that you could aim the sensor to an existing flasher or led in game to trigger an led strip on your topper.
He has also another controller that reacts to sound/music to give you similar effect as expression lighting too via RGB led strips.
