With Costco's insane return anything no questions policy I wonder if anyone will buy it then return it once it breaks or they get bored.
As you said still not cheap but getting better. I don't know what I'd actually pay for one of these but I'm guessing 5500 or so which would be possible if there was ever a sale.Still not cheap but the tariff seems to have been taken out of the Costco Canada price
$4800 USD should be $6700-6800 CAD max.
Probably some "free shipping" added

the cabinet feels more like particle board-ish.What about it feels cheap? I assumed it would be the same parts that go into a normal pin, just less mechs and smaller since they already have an inventory of parts for every other game. If it feels cheap did they cheap out on the parts too? No clue how they justify $7k if that's the case.
it would have to be unt $4k .97 before I'd even look at that thing. But .97 is coming. I saw its down to 6999 alreadyTariffs are gone, but the Costco machine is still listed at $8K... I wonder how long it will take to see a $****.97 price on it.
Already a glowing review on COSTCO.CA which should help future pin sales;
I purchased this yesterday and was a real challenge to get into the basement due to the weight. Finally got it all set up and found the front bar where hands rest is loose and not able to tighten it as it is only accessible from the inside. Started playing and the right paddle button is intermittently sticking which is very annoying. Not impressed when considering the cost of this unit. The layout is fairly simplistic, wish I would have listened to the online reviewers that didn’t recommend it.
These games are aimed at less that 1% of people walking into Costco. This is not for the masses even though this is a store for the masses.This is a pretty good representation of the issue here. The kind of person who is going to buy this unit is the kind of person who is averse to even opening it up, let alone doing maintenance. They are likely a person with a decent amount of discretionary income and they want a toy to impress their family and friends. They don't want something that is going to take fiddling.
