This was maybe 3-4 years ago. My first 3 pins in order from right to left. We had just spent 6 months renovating the basement and I had a sweet amount of space for maybe 10 pins, a home theater, an overflow room and a massive workshop/laundry/furnace room that would have been great for repairs...

I got the low profile lock-nuts from PBRestore, but any standard nut will do. You can get these at any hardware storee or, if you're near Dixie & Dundas, swing by my shop and you can grab a few of the low profile lock-nuts I got.

eeew! I'm a day or two away from fisnihing that TAF restore :P Spent last night matching all the grey areas and putting down most of the black outlines. Will post progress pics soon.

TAF here as well (off ebay :o ). It was my favorite in the arcades and, since I'm about to drop a brand new playfield into it, seems like it probably won't ever leave. It may be straighforward, even simple at times, but still a whole lot of fun and one of the best theme executions of the 90's...

The custom mirror blades are for something else entirely. However, I was going to try out a set of gold blades on WH2O. It sounds strange (and I don't think this game really needs blades anyway) but I thought the gold might go with the warm mountains and, with the lost gold mine/prospector...

Busy pinball weekend! -Finally fixed all the flakey switches on my MM... damn WPC95 pins :) -Transfered all the parts from old WH2O ramps and mountains to new ones. Hopeully I'll have the game reassembled this week. -Assembled a few more WH2O "missing plastic" mods to send out to buyers...

Sorry Chris, Had I known you were looking I could have added you to my last order. I get my stuff shipped to colleagues in Rochester or NJ that are regularly coming up for work. On one such trip my buddy brought me back all the parts for this mod and I finally had an opportunity to install it...

The one that always gets me is how nobody ever came up with a better method of wiring pop-bumper lights. I haven't taken a close look at my Sterns, but any pop -bumper rebuild becomes a stupidly difficult job due to those flat leads having to stapled and soldered in just the right way.

Not really, all manufacturing (outside of Europe and a few other places) is all still done in imperial measure. Go figure?

Occupational hazzard. Everything we make at work is built in inches.

Easy to figure. 7/8" is also the same as 14/16". If you add 14/16" + 3/16" you get 17/16"... which is essentially the same as 1-1/16". If you add the whole 1 you already had, you're at 2-1/16" voila :P No more math today please.

I like the wing-bolt too. I bought a bunch from ActionPinball a while back but they no longer have stock. I usually just put one in for added peace of mind. Dented rails and broken glass would suck. I'm pretty sure PBL isn't carrying them nor is Marcos... which is another reason I've hoarded all...
