Same here... although I did just buy two colour DMDs for MM and TAF, so can't really judge their pricing. The grid-lines would drive me nuts. Looks like Predator might have similar issues with their DMD (may even be xPin?). Hopefully they resolve it.

Yeah, pinside sort of does this with their kharma points. Not sure if it really accomplishes anything.... but for buyers and sellers it's not a bad idea.

Space Shuttle would be a fun project! The two physical ball locks are great and challenging to hit. Makes for a cool multiball and the sounds and theme are great (for the era).

2" or 3" flippers won't matter much. Most EMs are notorious for short ball times. Jack it up, wax it and make sure you have fresh rubber. If you can play for 20 minutes then you're a rock star :) There are several great pool themed pins... playing card themes are cool too. Games like Diamond...
