Thanks Adam, I did plan ahead and made sure that the lights were all roughly around where the player would be. I also have pots in my current basement. The ones that were directly above machines got their bulbs pulled. But the ones that were too far back actually cast shadows from players' heads...

Well, besides the fact that the DMM is showing great connectivity between boards with everything plugged in, several sources are still suggesting that I reflow the headers and re-pin the connectors. I will report back later this weekend.

There was a small mix-up and a delay, but I finally got my LOTR OS8 sound ROM to complete this mod. I'll install it tonight and let everyone know if the random callouts dissapear. They're actually pretty funny and always out of context... but not enough to disrupt the game.

I like the film too, but I sorta got used to the guards and like how they work for games with lights in the speaker panel... like TAF, IJ etc. 3M film won't help there. I barely notice them anymore. They look shitty from the side of the game, but dissapear when viewed from the front IMO.

SB might have them. If not, I could use a couple more. If you do an order I'll jump in. Let me know. Should've grabbed more in Allentown. Might grab a few more pin cab protectors too
