Great tip! I did the exact same thing on my old TZ but with a large round rare earth magnet instead; and some super thin DST from 3M. The metallic looking magnet blends in perfectly and is really narrow. I think Lee Valley Tools carries them. http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.a ... 2363,42348

Hi Everyone, I have a brand new unopened set of stencils for EBD. I bought it new from classic arcades. This is a full kit to re-do your entire cabinet and head; peel and stick. I bought it to possibly re-do my last EBD but sold the game and do not need them. $150

Got some new PIA chips in the mail today. Looks like I'm starting with swapping out some ICs first.

Once my TOTAN arrives I will defintiley be doing this. Mike charged me $300 to do all the metal on my IJ (except legs... IJ already had brass legs). This includes the purchase of new side rails. I just had to mail him my lockbar, backbox hinges and the bolts.

Here's a big batch I did with Sun Polishing here in Toronto. About $250 for a whack of interior parts and some legs. No trim or wireforms this time.

Yeah, they're okay but a bit of a pain. I'll use them for wire forms and anything under the playfield or inside the cabinet.... but stick to Mike Chestnut for things like rails and lock bars. They're good if you save up a lot of parts and do a batch. Not very friendly on little stuff.

Okay, Headers have been re-flowed bewteen sound board and MPU. Connectors have been re-built. No change in bahaviour :( I have ordered some ICs to test out that route. I also plan to change out some line filter caps to see if I can get something happening. Not good all around

Looks like we are down 1 (and possibly 2) members on this run. The more the cheaper, so hopefully we can keep the rest.

Sadly, the cabinet was not in as good shape as the playfield... so I'm having to re-draw some of the stencilled artwork. The good news is that, by the time this is done, the playfield will be cured and ready to play :) Here are a couple of before and after pics of the cab in progress.

I thought some of you would appreciate this. I showed the touch-up earlier in this thread. Well... I finally finished the whole playfield. I won't go into detail on every little touch-up, but the clearcoat is done and I can't wait to get this game back together. Here are some pics.
