I know a lot of guys scoff at Rottendog and other replacement boards... but if you can't do your own board reapirs (or have a friend who can :) ) the money you might spend on sending a 30 year old board out for repairs is usually enough to cover most, if not all, of the cost of a modern...

Yeah. Now that's a reality show I'd watch. I like that they're going after everyone and not just "competitive players". There are some pretty unique and interesting folks in this hobby. Yeah, a lot of weirdos too, but that's what's led it interesting ;)

I use EMTs all the time. I think my bank (TD) sets a limit of $1500 per day so that is a bit limiting unless you're buying EMs or early ss games ;)

I only saw JJP's in Allentown and not in a side by side comparison. What I've "heard" is that PDI is better. And this makes sense since the glass PDI sells is highly proprietary and patented. We use it at work also for high end museum showcases. The film is embedded right into the glass sheet...

With major renovations to our kitchen, master bath and basement just winding down, I'm spending the entire weekend cleaning up and getting the house ready for move-in. Not exactly a fun way to spend a long weekend, but still pretty excited that things are moving along.
