Finally a pic of the new BUS PCB system. Gonna be a game changer for sure, and be interesting to see if Stern managed to make it rugged enough to withstand life inside a machine. I'm really looking forward to seeing one in person, and what the system will allow the designers to do with it.

You would be absolutely correct Adam, but...
What about some of Stern's latest releases that are LED only yet still use the SAM 1.0 boards system? Currently the only way to remedy this issue is to remove all of the LED PCB's and install discrete sockets with diodes and bulbs. You add all that...
Really enjoying the project and looking forward to the end result. I'm hoping if they make the games with LED that they give us the option to run incandescent bulbs, as you can see a LOT of ghosting on the inserts. (or they fix the issue with programming, or even use an LED OCD board!)
D
Wow... that just proves right there operators were a few fries short of a happy meal then! Why remove the entire assembly when pulling the bulb or better yet just disconnecting the connector would have solved the issue.
Ahhh... gotta heart Op's!

I would offer my services but I'm in the GTA. You should contact Cooke on here about repairing this, as he is in London and almost does as nice of work as me. :lol:

Re: WTB: Gottlieb EM lockdown bar
If nobody on the board has one, you could always try Steve @ PBR? (or order it through Starburst Montreal as they order from PBR often)

It's absolutely amazing how many people are missing this assembly from their HS! Makes me wonder why they were removed in the first place and where they all ended up?
Your best bet for this part is probably making it out to a show like the one in Allentown in May.

Sounds like your CPU is not booting for some reason. You can disconnect all f the ribbon cables and the switch matrix connectors at the bottom, juts leaving j210 connected and power it up. Where d21 is lit yo have 5v so it should boot. If it doesn't you've got an issue on the CPU. If it does...
Monkey bug and I have been tossing lots if ideas around for some time about this.... theme, era of game, layout, features, rules etc...
Certainly enough talent between the lot of us, only thing we've identified for sure is a time issue... or lackthereof. But I'd like to be involved with a...
Re: FS : LOTR LE HUO :: SOLD :: SHE'S GONE !
Agreed, there is nothing worse when you're dealing with someone on a deal and it just falls apart with little to no explanation. I'm in the same boat as you, in that I usually expect people to treat me the way I would treat them... and more times...
Re: FS : LOTR LE HUO :: SOLD :: SHE'S GONE !
Well then I guess the seller felt the help he received in the past from the buyer (along with the firm offer and pickup) that ultimately sealed the deal. Can't blame the seller for making that call, he felt he owed the buyer a solid. Win some...
Re: FS : LOTR LE HUO :: SOLD :: SHE'S GONE !
If you were told it went "auction style baby" you would be incorrect. The seller didn't ask for more $$ at all, and that is a fact. What is also a fact is a number of people that were interested in the game were seriously low-balling the seller...
