Yep, the 2 axials are the ones I'm referring to. If those are dried out, you'll get the rolling / wavy display. Definitely change any charred parts in the HV section, and for the cost of $5 you just do the whole damn thing while you're in there! :) D

@ 12V, you're not at any risk of shock especially where the current from the supply of that 12V is minimal. D

Ummm, these "waves" that you're talking about... are you sure it's the zeeners you need to change? Usually when you get waves (rolling display) it's the electrolytics that are pooched. D

I've used flipper fidelity and they're pretty good. Now, depending on how quickly you're looking to upgrade the sound... you may want to hold off, as there might be a Canadian option available in the near future. D

Awesome-sauce! If the eyes are popping out, something is worn, missing or mis-adjusted. Check to see if the nyliners are all installed on the eyes. (I think the eyes have them... can't recall for sure. These are the small white bushings) D

That's a decent price Bish. As bad as the crazing is on this BH, it is VERY typical of almost every BiH I've seen to have this issue. (some are worse than others) Where you've done most of the work, this would be a great player for anyone looking to get into a BH for very little money that...

You could also try Rob Anthony as that is where I got some replacements from a couple years ago. I will warn you, they are NOT cheap. D
