SOLD Fully Working Non-Faded TZ for Sale

Re: Fully Working Non-Faded TZ for Sale May want to hold off on installing those mirror blades. if the buyer plans to install some of those other mods... especially the mini switch kit, there may be a lot of playfeild up & down. Very risky for the blades. I always liked installing them after I...

Help with Totem that is acting up

I gotta say... you may not see Sylvain post here very often... but when he does, it's always helpful and usually right on target! Congrats on the fix

    KISS pinball by Zidware!

Funny. I actually prefer the original art direction and John's desire to wipe Ben Hecks from the game and replace him with this 'Mars Attacks' character really kills it a bit for me. I liked the mad scientist held up in an abandoned amusement park churning out zombies. One too many ingredients...

    KISS pinball by Zidware!

When I visited JPOPs studio last year he was playing around with a prototype for a "modern/retro" game that has simple playfield features but lots of modern glitz... at a more reasonable price point. I guess this is one of it's incarnations. As Chris mentioned, the artwork style from John's...

    SOLD Container Pinballs *list received*

I agree... but again, finding one in that shape for that price is the sticky part. Most ops here have already been picked through. Europe has one of the last remaining stockpiles of routed games. The positive side of dealing with Gerard's containers was that the prices were all inclusive. The...

    SOLD Container Pinballs *list received*

Where is this magical local $4K SS you speak of? Oh wait... I think the unicorns and leprechauns are having a throw-down on it over there! I have to say that Euro hacks are no worse that the N. american variety; from what I've seen. I'd expect a $4K SS here to be heavily routed and...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

My build will be a 60-in-1 so I'll be needing a 2nd button (which stock DKs don't have of course). I've got a custom CPO layout based on the original DK art. That should be the only major deviation.

    SOLD Container Pinballs *list received*

Hmmmm. Prices seem slightly better than last time. Nothing on the list that would tempt me too much. But, if I was in need of a project (which I am not), I'd consider one of those MBs, AFM or even the SS.

Looking for Atari SUPER SPRINT bezel [FOUND err MADE]

Re: Looking for Atari SUPER SPRINT monitor bezel Funny ;) Guess I should update this thread. So I scanned and made my own. Actually, I have two now. Selling the 2nd one to help offset some costs. lemme know if you need one. Now, if the guys at CGCC would get around to verifying my...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

Making some good progress on these cabs. The first batch of 4 is set to leave the shop tomorrow so I spent some time assembling today at lunch. Here's one of mine; slated to be a Donkey Kong with a 60-in-1 JAMMA board. I also managed to spray 4 playfields last night while my painter worked on...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

START YOUR ENGINES: restoring my first vid; 1986 ATARI Super Sprint Part 4 I've been playing around with my Super Sprint cabinet a bit in an effort to get it standing and off my shop floor. It takes up way too much room. Sadly, my touch-up and painting attempts on the cabinet are not yielding...

    SOLD Container Pinballs *list received*

Re: Container Pinballs Yup, I'm pretty certain that, if the exchange made sense, Gerard would have continued bringing in more games. Having purchased 5 container games in the last couple of years, I think I am good for now. I have projects that will last me a while... but I'm always curious to...

The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

I was having an issue with my Banzai Run the last couple of nights. My ball lifter motor would not stop running and it turned out to be a badly mangled switch... which was also pretty gummed up internally. The switch with the appropriate actuator is no longer available so, using another style...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

Still... I'd rather not have to ;) Seems I was a little careless. There is definitely a "feel" that comes with practice when sanding, painting and other stuff. Guess I didn't have it that day. Will surely be more careful with older playfields in future. Better to err on the side of caution.

Anyone got this switch for Banzai Run?

Problem solved! Managed to find one close enough to bend. Thanks for the offer ME! BR is alive and kicking!

    Anhyone having trouble posting pics?

Thanks. I was finally able to do it. Seems it was not good enough to simply downgrade the size of my files... the site also did not like the physical dimensions. I trimmed them back to a max of 600x800 pixels and it works fine.

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

Here's an example of sh!t going really wrong :( I have to admit that I do not have a ton of experience working on playfields with no factory clearcoat. I had this spare Special Force playfield and I wanted to give it a quick cleanup and maybe swap it into my game down the road. I really do...

Anyone got this switch for Banzai Run?

eems switch 5647-12133-10 is a bit hard to locate. The one in my BR is a bit chewed up and it's not as easy as replacing it with a new switch that has a thin wire actuator. I think the wear and tear on this switch demands a beefier metal arm. The game uses two of these to stop/start the ball...
