...meanwhile, back at the ranch, I also managed to clear most of our moving boxes and assorted junk out of the last remaining corner of the gameroom and set up my wall of ss games. Everything from early Gottlieb & Bally ss and up to Williams sys11 us the rule for this wall. This is the first...
Wow,
I went back to this old thread and just realized it's been over a year since I posted any progress.
Although this is not the latest shot of the garage, the "shop" has been completely framed, insulated and skinned in pegboard. This pic is a few months old but the beer fridge has been moved...
Looks great Rob; and Art's products are awesome!
I bought a bunch of these strips on an order from Comet this past summer and have been looking for ways to incorporate them beyond the typical arch area to light up the flippers. One application I want to try is lighting up the back of my IJ and...
Yes, re-set on any new ball or new game works fine. Prorgammed re-set during gameplay, not so much.
Pretty sure the interupter on the back of the target registers (slides between the optos) when it is in the up position. I'll have to verify to make sure, but that's what I recall.
Yeah, that crossed my mind but I discounted that after reading the various settings and what they did. Didn't see any mention of it, but it can't hurt to try.
It's from his days as a child labourer in the mean streets of Santiago, Chile.
It's probably too painful for him to talk about it now; but where do you think he got his nickname... and his wicked merengue moves? :D
I'm looking forward to having Santiago's fingerprints all over my poor SS and...
Okay. A little bit of digging turned up a pinside thread where someone was having issues with their cyclone motor turning the wrong way (sound familiar)?
Cyclone uses the nearly identical 14-7941-3 motor and also has (hopefully) the same gear restrictor to ensure the motor only travels in one...
The motor is AC and will have a tendency to rotate one way or the other. In order to prevent this, there is supposed to be a dogbone shaped cam in the gearbox that restricts movement to counterclockwise. Mine rotate clockwise and is getting confused as to its location. Could also be an opto...
Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for some help from anyone who knows this game well. I picked one up recently in a muti-game trade and am really enjoying it.
My divertor motor seems messed up (rotates the wrong way) so I'll have to crack it open and repair or try and find a rare replacement... but...
While it's not a special number, I did buy a Banzai Run a few months ago. I lifted the playfield (which seemed way too shiny and bright for a 26 year old system11) and the code XR7 was written in sharpie across the edge of the playfield.
XR7 was the early code name for the diamondplate process...
What's the shooter gonna be Brock? Chattering teeth toy? :D
I'm a big fan of the movie. I played it for the kidsa few weeks back. A little 'colourful' language for 5 year olds. Probably should've screened it first.
I'll have the HS set up in a few days. I'm also in Mississauga.
It needs a little cleanup but is a great example with full mylar playfield and I'll definitley let it go for a lot less than $3K :D
Feel free to send me a PM if you want to come take a peek.
A.
Just got a chance to look at this video.
They did such an awesome job. Wow!!!
I have these on MM, WH2O and TAF.
Looks awesome on MM and TAF is okay too... but WH2O is just okay. I've held off on doing FT and TOTAN (since my game is still a wreck) but on IJ it just looks like it would be...
Hey Everyone,
As some of you know, I've been slowly setting up my shop and gameroom over the last few months.
I'm coming across a ton of parts and toys for games that I'll never need or use. I want to clean house and am starting with a weird one.
In 2008 Gentle Giant (maker of high realism...
