Yep I understand your situation. It's why my R2 topper sold immediately when I offered it up. Guy had to buy the game along with it and resell the game lol. Don't dismiss that option if it pops up...
Yeah it’s not just “hard to find”. It’s unobtainium, like the star wars R2-D2 topper. It also likely sells at an insane premium. The last R2 topper I know that sold in Canada went for 4000$.
Dude. American tariffs are an american federal tax imposed on AMERICAN importers. Since Canada doesn't manufacture pinball machines this has zero impact as it won't affect our pinball manufacturer's exports. It's always about the counter tariffs and regardless of where they hit, it hurts.
The...
Forgot to include the pic of the visually very unexciting repair. It only gets exciting with a DMM and seeing the voltage be exactly where it should be.
Power driver board has now been refreshed including a complete rebuild of the HV section.
On a sad side note the components were hard to find. Nobody sells rebuild kits anymore as some parts are obsolete and super expensive. I guess most folks just prefer spending hundreds on LED displays...
Dude WTF. Is your game for sale or not? 2 posts up you state it’s no longer for sale. @EVH may be bored but you’re being weird.
In any case it doesn’t matter since your asking price is so unrealistic. Funny how you don’t reference Pinside pricing when it doesn’t suit your needs lol.
Player’s condition. Has had touchups on both the playfield(not great) and cabinet(not bad). Backglass in very good shape with a small touchup. Works 100% on all original hardware. Cleanest MPU I’ve ever seen from that era. Has memory capacitor instead of batteries so no danger of leaks. LEDs as...
I have 3 different subs and all 3 have the line and speaker level inputs and they aren't PSW10s.
I would avoid getting individual 10" subs when you can get a 12" that covers 3 games and sounds much better. You will forever think that PSW10s are awesome and great until you hear something with...
No Prism, just the daughterboard. The Prism went with the game when I sold it. I still preferred using the emulated setup I had made. Auto switching between playfields was the thing that interested me most. I had both games. Full RFM game and a SWEP1 PF.
I was pleasantly surprised with Venom Prem at Pinfest. It’s actually on my list of games I want to rotate through the line up now. I know nothing of the theme. It was just fun to shoot. Not something I’d buy outright but certainly trade for.
The new "Shrunken Heads" mode is cool on BJ :D
The callouts aren't bad now - as long as they come through and we can enable/disable the 4 voices independently. I'm not liking the "Madam Liotta" style voice. Too much fake echo..
I really enjoy Beetlejuice. It’s fun, funny, and great theme integration. Shots are tight and a lot of them are close to the flippers which is why my wife doesn't like it as much and isn't emotionally attached to it.
