GLWTS. Last year I tried selling unopened PinStadiums the best offer I got was less than half of what they cost. I ended up giving them to my recipient on the secret santa thing on Pinside. I chose to make someone's day rather than entertain ridiculous offers.
I don't consider wax as protection against the steel ball. It feels like it gets dirty slower when waxed. I see it as protection against dirt that sticks. TBH I don't wax often as I don't feel it needs it. Plus there's always some white wax residue somewhere on metal rails, targets, etc that...
This isn't brain surgery or rocket science. Folks need to relax!! lol ;)
It's a machine that's meant to be in a bar/location and used all the time. In home use you could probably never maintain it and it won't show wear anyway. Shooter lane wear can be avoided/reduced by lowering kickout power...
Years and number plays are only part of the equation. The main one is maintaining the game (cleaning/waxing/changing balls). Without knowing how the games you mention were maintained you can't really say how long they will last without wear.
The factory CC is like an automotive CC but way...
Hey guys,
Would be interested in above mentioned trade. No other Wonka versions (LE or SE), only the CE. Wonka CE's actually are selling at much less than the MMrRE on Pinside. My loss.
I will not sell outright (I'm looking at YOU Luch). I will not trade for cash or anything else other than...
I suppose it all depends on the cost of the license. The more expensive the license the less they have for the Bill Of Material. Expensive licenses have given us bare games like SW and LZ. Super expensive gave us refreshed older designs like Beatles. Cheap licenses gave us stuff like godzilla.
It's super fast and can be brutal but the theme integration is well done. As we are big SW fans I don't think I'd ever sell mine. The pro is pretty bare though.
Your comment is not exactly accurate. You used USD for the Home Pin and CAD for the Fathom. At least be honest in your comparison.
Fathom classic is $8725 CAD
JP Pro is about $8100 CAD
JP PIN is about $5700 CAD
those prices don't include taxes or shipping it's just retail price.

Meh:
- Particle board cab (think Ikea).
- 1 tiny speaker in the backbox none in cabinet (Many complaints from previous PINS)
- screen too small to be of any use (many complaints from previous PINs)
- limited code and mechs
- expensive for what it is
I'd rather pay 2k$ more and get the real thing.
Actually it's more about the age of the machine and the fact it's a Gottlieb. They are somewhat harder to work on than other makes. Edge connectors, proprietary chips on the boards, etc.
