While game is off Instead of checking voltages your checkings Ohms should read infinite or open between 1,2 and 3...6,7 and 8 put one lead on 2 and the other on 3 check it for infinite or open and so on Logic probe will work fine while the game is on you should get a signal whether high...

Test it..this op amp chip should read infinite or open between 1,2 and 3...6,7 and 8 Better yet put a scope on pin 1 and 2 to see if there is a signal in then check pin 3 to see if there is signal out Lastly, you can put voltage on 1 and 2 and see if there is voltage on pin 3....no more than...
