Sorry for the delay in responding to everyone.

The sale was a great time. The place was instantly packed at noon. I don't have a headcount on the number of attendees, but there were a lot of people there for sure.

There were about 34 machines on the floor for sale and nearly half of them sold. In the days that followed, another 5 or 6 sold as a direct result of the event, so I'd say it was very successful. The tournament had 31 players and we raised $550 for a local women's shelter. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and the brewery was also very happy with sales. The food vendor that was there ran out of food around 4pm, so he was delighted. All in all, it was super fun and we will likely do it again next year.

There is a bit of a balancing act trying to pull off an event like this because we want sellers to bring their games to the event and place them on the floor while buyers from out of town often want to know details and prices in advance so they can determine if it's worthwhile making the trip. The thing is that if you provide too many details on each specific game, then people become eager to make deals in advance, which works against the whole point of holding the event in the first place. I know that the folks who host the Allentown show have often had this dilemma as well. Without the games on the floor for the show, there is no show. The result is that sellers take a bit of a risk bringing a game that may or may not sell and buyers take a risk attending an event where they may not find what they're looking for. But that's all part of the fun, in my opinion.

Kyle: The JP is still available, to my knowledge and it's in great shape. Shoot me a PM if you want the seller's details.

JamesJay: Contact Mana Pinball for details on the Deadpool and X-Men. They may still be available.

Luch: El Dorado did not sell at the event and was listed on FB marketplace soon after. It's my understanding that it sold a few days ago.

To anyone else, if there were games listed that you want to know details about, shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can provide.

Thanks to everyone who attended and a very special thank you to everyone who brought games.

Here is a link to the FB post that includes video and photos and more details:

And here's Mike's video about the event:

Are you sure about that, I personally helped someone load Freddy into their vehicle and almost positive he got it in a trade.
That was me! Thanks for the help CP! You're right, I traded my Demolition Man for Freddy.

I had always intended to sell it and have it posted for sale on here at the moment: https://www.pinballrevolution.com/threads/freddy-a-nightmare-on-elm-street-1994.15352/

Maybe I'll bring it out to the next community sale if it doesn't sell. It was a lot of fun!

Sounds like it was a success.
Maybe next time for me.
I can't have someone going leaving for Vegas every time.

So was it a all ages event?
GnR was not on adult mode? (If something like that was there)

Anyone know if the Bally Game Show sold? Or what the asking price was? That was Dan S's game, and I spoke with him briefly while looking at a ball hang-up spot, but he said he hadn't yet had time to fill out the pricing card and then I didn't get a chance to circle back to the game to look for myself.

I don't think any kids were just walking in off the street, but there were a few young people there, presumably with a parent. It is a bar / craft brewery, but i do believe underagers are allowed in, just not to drink the beer. I could be wrong about that. The place does have more of a family friendly vibe with the picnic tables and bands playing on some of the regular days, so maybe the rules for underagers differs from like a night club for example? I think kids would still have to come in with an adult. For sure check it out on your own. You're super close compared to many of us.

Edit: there were no games that had one of those adult modes, like Sopranos, lol. Demo Man has swear ROMs but I don't know if the one there had those or not. It's often too loud to hear everything specifically from one game anyway.

Its just my GnR has way more songs on adult mode for some foul language and the drug references of Mr Brownstone.
In a sale, you want to showcase.

I ended up purchasing it from Dan, we made a deal closer to the end of the day, and it's tucked away in my basement currently. New ramps, new sling plastics, art blades, and a bunch of other parts on the way from black Friday sales. It's currently sitting in what we call the "spot of judgement" in our house LOL. My son and I will get it shopped out, cleaned up, fixed up, finally play it for a bit and then we will decide if it stays or not. If it is a game you're interested in, I can let you know when we are ready to move on from it and if you're still looking you can come see it and what has been done.

Right on. Thanks for the update. If you end up posting or sharing your work / progress in a thread on here or Pinside, shoot me the link. Will be nice to see. I saw a few bumps and bruises on the game and ramps too, so things I probably would have gotten working on as well. Fun winter project, enjoy.
