Seems a bit scary. If those magnets behave randomly (like say... the power on TAF) this is not going to end well for Stern.
The last thing I want is my ball randomly going into the drain because of a magnet. In a mode, sure... but not as part of the regular play of the machine

I saw a video showing the magnets and I did not like. It does behave randomly and also looks like it slow things down as well. It totally ruins what looked to be a fresh new game.

Was it a different vid than the one currently on FB?
I understand this was just a test and that they are supposed to behave more like real slings.

The FB one might have been the one I saw. I didn't realize that was just a test. I don't think they would be able to get magnets to behave like real slings, just can't see it. The slings are the wrong place to use magnets. Maybe if they replaced a pops with magnets might be interesting and may work. But slings being so close to the flippers you want to be a lot more predictable.
