Hello,

I am looking to sell these two machines as part of an estate sale. Both are not in working order. They do power on partially as can be seen from the photos but need repair work to be fully functional. I am asking $1,500 total for a buyer willing to pickup both cabinets. Located in North Etobicoke.

Hey SteveT,

Cool games and nice potential for projects.

May I ask if you know someone on this forum in real life that can vouch for you? I see you only joined here today.

Thanks.

I'm also interested assuming things are legit. More so in the Baby Pac-Man pinball arcade game and less so the Tron.

Hello,

I was directed to the board by a gentleman who runs an arcade company and helped me value them. I have asked him if he minds me using his name and will post if he agrees.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest. I would be willing to split them up as it seems there is interest in both separately. As I mentioned above I’m waiting to see if the person that put me onto the board is okay with me paying their name and will be back to you so you know I am legit. I can post more photos or other info if that’s helps.

Thanks for the replies. Appreciate the effort to contact the fellow who put you on to the forum. Assume everything is fine, just seems to be an abundance of scammer types in the world now so thought I would ask.

Hard to say what the values are exactly as condition is a little hard to tell from the pictures. I will speak for the Baby Pac-man and ask/ suggest that perhaps we could see a couple more pictures of the pinball playfield more directly and also of how things look inside. Which you would need the keys to do so, which is another question I would have. Do you have the keys? Front left, that key let's you tip down the joystick panel and access the playfield. The door on the back of the cabinet let's you see and service the circuit boards and CRT display. Seeing how those boards look I think is the most important aspect as to condition. Boards can be damaged by corrosion or other things or missing entirely.

I will let Jeremy comment on the Tron. I don't know much about the old video game cabinets. I would have no problem splitting the asking price in half, at $750, if that's acceptable.

Yeah hard to say without seeing more pictures or seeing them in person. Hopefully they were not stored too long in an unheated space over a few season cycles as that can cause all kinds of issues. But yeah I'd be fine with splitting it evenly and doing $750 on the Tron.

Hello,

My apologies for the delay. I finally had the chance to head over to where the estate stuff is and take more pictures (I live about 1.5hours away). Unfortunately the Tron I couldn't get inside of, the keys are missing, but I'll post a few more of the sides and back so you can see them. Full disclosure, the Tron was stored in a garage (no heat).

I also wanted to confirm that the gentleman that put me on to this forum is a user since Dec 2014, name on the forum is BMRS2000 and he runs the company Home Arcade. He looked at both cabinets and gave me his opinion of values. The projects were too big for him for the time that he had on hand but he said the kind of amounts I am asking are fair considering they are in "as is" condition. Tron is more rare - although stored in the garage. The Baby Pac-man was stored indoors always and the back was open so I got a lot of photos of the interior and also the pinball area.

I will post more pictures below and let you folks decide if they interest you. Thanks for your patience and interest.

Baby Pac-Man is in its new home.

Thanks for the immense help Steve in getting that sucker out of the basement. Nothing "baby" about how heavy it is!!
