I have to disagree to a certain point on this. JJP didn't get lazy with Harry Potter, nor did Spooky with Evil Dead. Dune and Winchester also look pretty solid, but I haven't player them yet, so I'll reserve comments.

I just really think Stern has lost touch with the pinball community. Aside from Elwin games, I can't name you the last Stern that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Everyone likes something different obviously, but that's just my take on it.

I wasn't talking about Potter. I'm talking about GnR, one of JJP's biggest selling games of all time. And for JJP, the only truly good games they've had in the last 5 years are Elton John and Potter. Wonka is "ok". TS4 is marginal. GnR is marginal if you like the theme but the scoring is so badly pooched. Godfather is downright terrible.

Spooky just got their shit together with Evil Dead, and no one has played Beetlejuice yet. Their previous games are generally pretty meh.

Stern makes a lot of machines. Most of the ones I truly love are definitely Elwin designs. D&D, Bond, Foo Fighters, Rush are all pretty good. Wick with the code updates is also pretty good.

Dune is an ok game. I can post about how Winchester is soon enough if you want.

I'll be 53 this year and I'm definitely looking forward to trying this one. If they get the code right and there are game save features it would be cool to try to catch em all in game and even better if you could do battles. It also opens it up to online play which I'm sure Stern would love to nickel and dime us monthly on similar to a Gold Pass or Playstation+. Gary loves profit > pinball

Looks like, if this is the real layout, it’s identical to Transformers. I guess it makes sense with Gomez behind design. This video overlays the two games. Ramps and orbits are in the same locations. Scoop has moved from left to right, but is exact same angle as transformers. Only difference seems to be target bank. Transformers is on a slight angle, Pokémon is more parallel to the sides of the machine;

Nice of you to brag on Nick’s thread you bought the same machine he is selling. You’re a class act man.

I'm definitely interested in picking one up but still waiting to see what, if any, gameplay differences there will be between pro and premium/LE.
