Does anyone have experience shipping from Canada to the US? I've shipped many times within Canada, but US shipping, customs, duties, etc. is a new wrinkle for me.

I shipped a game to Utah once. I recall the buyer provided some forms that had to be tapped to the outside on the box. I had the buyer arrange the pick up and the paperwork. If you can find a used pinball machine box with "MADE IN THE USA" written on the box, likely helpful. They picked it directly up at my house.

We'vbe done a few shipments to the US recently and its a lot messier than it used to be. They don't care if its made in the USA its like they want to be difficult ever since the Trump tariffs. We had to fill out environmental paperwork specifying ehat kind of wood the machines (and the pallets) were made from.
I'd recommend that you get the US buyer to arrange it on their end it will be likely be less complicated overall (and for you).

That's unfortunate, as the potential buyer is less familiar with shipping than I am, so likely no deal.

you think USA is difficult , you should try Australia , 4 months of back and forth paper work and then quarantine
