Rocket Racoon Shot GOTG

On my gotg id say close to 90% if not more of the successful rocket lane shots send the ball blasting straight down the middle with no chance to save. Or maybe im too slow I guess.
It makes the shot so terrible I have to avoid it entirely. Making the rocket mode almost unplayable unless you can hit while a ball save is active.
Is this a common known issue? Is there a way to adjust it at all to help solve this. Maybe some how aim the plunger more left or right perhaps?

The only time it blasts SDTM on me is if it catches me asleep at the wheel. Otherwise I can save the ball and carry on playing. It could be that your reaction time needs to be tuned in a bit. Your flippers are position correctly I assume? They aren't positioned to high? Oh, and for reference, I have the front legs almost as low as possible and the rear nearly max'd out. Basically I have the playfield angled as much as possible.
