How does one actually move this?
Is it all 1 piece?
It seems like it would be humanly impossible to get it in and out of a regular basement.

yes we got it into the current basement , it is one piece , it took about 4-6 guys to do it , i would say it weighs about 500 lbs maybe a little more , you would need a mid sized trailer , i could help and deliver it for a reasonable fee , and bring the people to do it
