Hey everyone.
I want to add another mod to my RFM but I need to know what this circuit is before I start. Is it a paraallel circuit?
Can anyone show me a diagram of this circuit, I just can't visualize it in my head, I think I have an idea but I want to make sure first.

Here's the circuit:
Wired up as follows
Row -> LED1 Cathode | LED1 Anode -> LED2 Cathode | LED2 Anode -> Resistor -> Diode Cathode | Diode Anode -> Column

Thanks.

2 LEDs in series within the light matrix. They would both act as 1 bulb (both light when triggered by CPU).

In this example you could take out both LEDs and the resistor and just replace that section with a regular bulb.

In either case the extra diode has to remain in the circuit.

OK, thanks, I understand now, I don't have in hand 3 volt LED's, could I add 2x6 volt LED's in parallel and get the same result, still with a diode of course?

A guy on Pinside told me that the new "Mypinballs" code supports the rubber matian eyes.

....and here's how they should be connested:
33A - Left Martian eyes
Column 3A Yel-Org Lamp 35A Left Drain to Trough
Row 3A Brn-Org Lamp 73A Left Side 3

34A - Right Martian eyes
Column 3A Yel-Org Lamp 36A Right Drain to Trough
Row 4A Brn-Yel Lamp 84A Right Return Lane (Left)

Nevermind the question Mike, after thinking about it I realize that if I could put in one bulb, why not two bulbs in parallel, it should work great, I'll try it and will update for those who would want to do the mod.

I just connected my first martian and it works great, I connected it on a parallel circuit, not in series as suggested because I have 6V LED's and all worked great, except I had to use 1 resistor per eye, so, 2 resistors for one martian except only 1 per martian.
I'll post a video once I plug the second martian.
