Looking to sell my almost brand new Jurassic Park Premium. January 2026 manufacture date. Just not loving the game as much as I had hoped to after bringing it home.

- Jeep mod done with proper 3D printed base
- official art blades
- official amber shooting rod
- meticulously setup and cared for, everything works flawlessly (all targets nicely centered and preventing ball damage by hitting exposed edges of metal ramps etc. unlike out of the box)
- full protection of shooter lane all the way up the wooden portion of the ramp
- protection of the metal guide plates in the ball drain area as well
- flipper pivot points lightly lubricated (works butter smooth, no out of box "flipper squeak" etc.)
- 1.15 movie code installed customized to replace original poorly inserted mono (not stereo) music. If you've looked for this code you'll see on Pinside the 1.15 versions mention issues with low volume and mono on some TRex modes that was "unfixable". Fixed :)

Originally it was between this, Bond 007 and Jaws. Bought this on long standing high reviews and my son loves dinosaurs haha I just prefer Bond 007 for the theme and have the itch to try it. Would consider trading for an immaculately cared for Bond 007 Premium or Jaws potentially though I prefer cash as I like doing my own tweaks NIB.

Asking $13,500 (spent over $15,000 for NIB game, all accessories, tax, shipping etc. less than a month ago! Have original receipts as well to prove for warranty if needed)

Thanks for looking

You should try playing with the normal code - not just a few games but many. Despite feeling more familiar, movie code makes no sense with gameplay and detracts from the experience. JP Is a tough game with tight shots however. Definitely not for everyone. We miss ours.

Great Jeep mod! I always hated the one that came with the pin. Just wasn't right. I'm warming up to the idea of a JP, especially with the movie code. GLWTS!

MrMikeman: Good to know about your take on the movie code. I will have to find one to get game time on to compare, but I appreciate your take on it!

Thanks, yeah the Jeep mod makes a huge difference to me, couldn’t stand the original cheap looking “Jeep” or whatever that was.

Only played a few games with the original code before I couldn’t stand the voice acting. I don’t care personally if it’s better gameplay experience with the original lol I wanted to turn the game off within 10 minutes with the cheap voice acting they used. The movie clips are awesome especially for the Trex scenes and Trex chase, the control room videos, the cafeteria scene, the ball save scenes. It made sense to me anyhow. There are different version of the movie code floating around, this one matched clips to all the right scenes in the movies. Who wants animated Trex when you can have the Trex from the movie roaring instead?

Yeah a bit of a lose-lose. Bad voice acting or callouts that are nonsense (albeit classic lines in the movie). I’m a huge fan of immersion which the movie code doesn’t provide and in fact ruins it. Stern code sounds odd/cheap because they tried to imitate the John Hammond character. I dislike that surfer dude narrator too lol.

However the game itself I find amazing. JP Will make anyone better at pinball. No long playing games here unlike GZ.

Still disagree a bit. I think it depends what movie code you tried and on top of that, the required callouts are still there for the important parts. That’s all the same. Movie code doesn’t take over game function, it just replaces animated video sequences with the real videos.

JP for sure made me much more accurate that’s for sure I will definitely agree there. Unpopular opinion maybe but I don’t like GZ much :)

Lol yes I know what the movie code does. It’s the abundance of characters and callouts that have NOTHING to do with the game that are dumb. Dr Malcom. The kids. The lawyer. Both paleontologists. All characters that are Key to the movie….. and that have nothing to do with what’s going on in the game. If you were a pinball player that knew nothing about the movie and just walked up to the game with movie code, you’d be completely confused as to why you are hearing all these voices say things that make no sense. Cool movie lines/clips don’t make for cool useful callouts when they have nothing to do with game or storyline progression. So yes let’s agree to disagree on that aspect. :)

I AM a fan of real movie music getting inserted to replace the generic Stern stuff though.

lol well thanks for the input, but "shoot the truck to change your path", and "feed the Trex", and "pteradon attack" and "shoot the helicopter pad" etc. etc. are all in the game. That's literally the only callouts you need to play the game. You progress your paddock by hitting white shots to start the "scene" depending on the dinosaur path you take by moving the truck left or right ... everything else is 100% straight forward movie code or not.

Thanks for your input, but this is also a for sale thread my man :) If you'd like to chat more about your personal preference I'm all ears in private message.

Just to note for those interested, I have the original 1.15 SD card set aside with the game so if you don't like movie code, just pop in the originally included SD card.

Cheers

To enjoy the best of both worlds, look for DystopicPinball's code in the dedicated thread on Pinside.

Info:

I would like to share with you my personal firmware version 1.12 for Jurassic Park.
This version aims to enhance and preserve the stock STERN firmware without losing the most epic scenes/soundtrack from the movie.
Final product look like an official Stern enhanced release.

Some detail:
Callouts: stock - except the initial "Welcome to jurassic park" voice;
Soundtrack/music: custom - from JP movie;
Video: 80% from stock firmware, 20% from JP movie.
Attract: 1 stock, 2 and 3 movie scenes.
Game guides videos: stock
Highscores: stock waterfall

Interesting ... lol maybe I'll have to try it out and forget about the voice callouts. Maybe you guys were right, if you don't know the movies well you'd never really know anyhow. Good to know guys like both the stock code and some aspects of the movie code. Options are never bad honestly

JP is hard as hell too. I would recommend playing it with 5 balls instead of 3 and try co-op mode with multiple players before you let it go. I sold mine because I found it too hard and then co-op mode came out. I would be fun to see and play the wizard modes.
