Not a particularly well loved or popular machine it seems, but I find myself playing it more than GZ, EHOH, D&D, UXM, JP, DP, Mando, SW, Jaws, Venom, GB, Mando, Kiss at the same location (mainly Pros)

King Kong has surpassed it though.

This is a criminally underrated game. New code is great and still lots more to come.

Most played game in our collection at the moment

I only play the one at Targ, and there are a couple of things that I assume are broken switches on that specific machine and not part of the new code.

1. Every plunge that drops into the crate starts a mode, whether you make the crate skill shot or not. That can't be right can it?
I'm assuming that a mode is only meant to start if you actually make the skill shot and the second rollover in the plunge lane must not be working correctly.

2. Bashing the car doesn't seem to advance towards the car chase multiballs at all. Again, I assume that is just a mech not working on that specific machine or am I missing something?

It doesn't surprise me that people underrate it; there isn't any wow factor in its looks, layout, or mechs, but it's so much fun to play.

For the skill shot, the game is supposed to start a mode if you can plunge the shot into the trunk without hitting either of the two switches just above the gate. If you only hit the first switch, the game awards you “one hit” to the trunk. So it may start a mode after hitting just the first switch if you’ve already got two trunk hits.
So in your case, it sounds like neither of those switches are registering and the game is awarding you the Baba Yaga skill shot reward with each plunge.

Also for the car multiball on the pro you have to hit the left orbit spinner spinner first to build up the insert lights at the car. Once they are full then you hit the car to light multiball at the left orbit again.
