I shipped my STTNG from out west to NB for something like $260 CAD.

Not certain either but I think somewhere around $400, depending on the service.
After getting a pallet, ratchet straps, blankets, a couple pool noodles that I cut in half and tapped to each corner, with some cardboard and plastic wrap... the packing materials set me back close to $200 alone. And it's a nuisance to bullet-proof it.
But my pin got to BC ok without a mark so it's definitely doable if you dont mind making the effort.
