Getting Stern machines back to start screen

Hi all, I play pinball in an arcade that is frequented by a lot of kids. They will often start a game, mash the start button until it’s set to 4 players, play a bit, then run off to something else. At that point I have to walk up to the machine and drain all the remaining balls for all 4 players until the game is over before I can log in with the app. Is there a better way to do this? Obviously I cannot unplug the machine.

hole the start button and left flipper at the same time , this is for any spike 2 and up games

Actually a bit more specifically, hold the left flipper button in first, then hold the start button in. It takes a few seconds then the game will reset.

I believe Stern made this a setting you can turn off as well. So in some cases, if it doesn't work to get the game to reset after holding those two buttons together, it might be because the feature is disabled.

Or just turn the game on and off
