Ya. I think it looks pretty good with lots of shots. I do enjoy the movies quite a bit but not enough to spend 11.6k USD on the pin. I'll be happy to play it on location at antisocial if they get one

I fear Barrels of Fun and Turner are going to get runover by the JJP/Stern hype trains!

I loved the last Dune movie - it was really good. Just not sure it was pinball good but look forward to seeing game play. I assume it will play similarly to Labyrinth.

Not a theme for me but that's ok. Labyrinth was not a theme for everyone either while it was awesome for me. BoF does small runs of very niche themes. That's their market.

It looks great and I hope I get to flip it at some point.

Hated the new movies, but I have to admit, I really love the art package/ style. Presentation on this is pretty amazing. I think it completely annihilates Kong in that department, but I do think Kong's playfield design looks pretty stellar, where as this, while not looking bad, looks a bit more traditional. I do like the sculpted worm holes in the upper right corner. Given the choice of Kong vs Dune, at this point, I would (surprisingly) probably go with Dune.

They released this game too early to the public. This code is super early. I heard they felt pressure to show the game.

The more I look at Dune, the more I'm interested in this game. I know, Villeneuve's Dune was not for everyone, but I'm haunted by it. I'm a big sci-fi fan, and you can't get any better than Dune. Classic.

BoF has got the rights to materials from Dune and Dune Part Two. I'm sure the code will get more attention, more screenshots, more scenes. The music is great, very atmospheric. Game has a pretty good sound system already built into it. And I love the translite, very much looking like the characters, so that's a proper translite compared to Shadow or poorly done GoT, for example. Do I have $18k to throw at it? Currently not. But I'll be thinking about it. If it shoots right, and with the upcoming part 3, sounds like a promising titles, imho.

Sorry about resurrecting an older thread but BOF did mention the other day It's the last call to order Dune for the time being. They are cutting production from 1100 to roughly 600 units so they can move Winchester and their next title in a timely manner.

Dune is my favorite game, it really is special and I recommend if you're on the fence or unaware of this deadline to make a deposit.

You need a theme that appeals to a wider audience to sell 1100 games at that price.

I'm a Dune fan, but the price in USD, plus taxes and shipping, put me off.

Sadly. I think all the smaller companies will be raising prices. Spooky already said next game is going up to $11-12k.

$10k USD already in the $15k CAD range here with tax. Kind of where I max out also.
