Cold storage

Does storing a pin in an unheated storage facility hurt the pin ? There is 1 I am kinda interested in but they told me it’s been in an unheated storage since they sold there house. Thanks in advance

It depends. Older games with real backglasses can be affected by cold. Other than the BG look for rusted metal.

I’d be more worried about vermin having setup a condo in there.

Direct contact with the cement floor or boosted up on anything. Could really mess up the wood

Detailed inspection is the only way to know.

Unheated means temp fluctuations and those can mess stuff up.

As mentioned, rodents are also a factor.

I had a couple pins trapped in unloaded truck trailers during COVID in the middle of winter.
Iron Maiden was sitting in an unheated trailer for 3 weeks in the dead of winter.
I was very concerned, but thankfully everything was still perfect when I unpacked it.
The wood was not warped in anyway.
