Came across Chris Granner's website the other day, and he has posted remixes and extended versions of a lot of the music he did for Williams/Bally back in the 1990s. Probably old news but I'd thought I'd share. Its pretty cool to hear the turnes when they are not burried in the background...Whitewater, Funhouse, Taxi, Dr. Dude...he was a sound artist on a bunch of machines that had really catchy music. They'd make excellent ringtones!

For good measure, here is a link to the TOPcast interview that Clay did with Granner.

One of my favorite seminars at Expo 2010 was when a large group of the designers from WMS got together to talk about some of their favorite stories / memories and Granner's tales were by far the best of the lot. The story behind T2 and the swear ROM's and how the game almost never got released because Arnie pulled the plug right before launch... Another was the recording session with the voice talent for IJ and some of the ad-lib 'R' rated multi-ball callouts that still to this day make me chuckle.

Chris is just a cool down to earth guy. Thanks for the URL!
