Charlie's Angels (No Sound)

So, I have an Angels that plays great, but no longer makes any sound (at all) . I am assuming it is the Tone Board- but before I order a new one and try it, are there any other things I should be looking at?
I am more of an EM guy, so this circuit board stuff is new to me. Any advice is appreciated.
