This our first tournament.
Personally, I have zero interest in anything related to the IFPA, so I doubt we will ever run any IFPA tournaments.
I am contemplating contacting Stern to delist us as a Stern Army location this week.

I'm not sure we will run any tournaments or leagues going forward as they seem to have a detrimental effect on business.
Casual players want to avoid nights that have events running and there are not enough "organized play" people to warrant the effort/ loss of business.

Wow, interesting way to look at it. Every location that I've been to that has a bi-weekly or monthly IFPA tournament gets a lot of business from it. My personal opinion is that it's a mistake to avoid them, and definitely a mistake to drop the Stern Army. That's just free advertising for you.

Well, to give you an example; (before Antisocial) I would purposely never go somewhere that ran a tournament or league that night.
It is the number one reason I rarely ever went to Maple as it was all about organized play. Ironically, if Maple did not have organized play, Antisocial would probably not exist.
In order to maintain the Stern Army designation, I HAVE to run an IFPA tournament monthly, which I have no interest in doing. I didn't realize this when I signed up.

I made my first visit last Sunday and I just wanted to say thank you for making such an incredible collection of games available to play on location.

There were so many games I wanted to try and didn't even get through half of them in a 90-minute visit, let alone reaquainting myself with favourites from the 90s or trying the Prem/LE versions of games I've where I've only played the pro.

I'm trying to think of excuses to come back down to Toronto so I can come back and work my way through the rest of the collection. It's a must-visit for anyone visiting Toronto.

Haha not leaving on account that they're losing lol the trip has been planned for a while now. I'll be watching on TV Saturday night for sure!

Budget as much time as you can. The only disappointment I had was having to leave before I got through all of the machines I wanted to try.

I think we are lucky to have a couple of great locations to play in Ottawa, but Antisocial is another level altogether.

#1= 10 Tokens
#2= 9 Tokens

#4= 7 Tokens
