The Avengers was $4251 - So $5524.17 if paying with anything but CC. That's the Pro, and if you were to get one from the US you'd be looking at around 4200USD for a routed one. So that was probably a reasonable deal.
From anything I can tell reading their fine print, I believe it is 18% BP + 15% for payment, plus HST? These auctions always seem good if you want to pick up a bunch of little stuff, maybe a coin changer machine.. but terrible if you're really hoping to snag a great deal on a pin..
I totally missed Legends of Valhalla. hehThe other two pins in the auction;
Legends of Valhalla 6,500 (8,667.10 or 8,446.75)
Hot Wheels 6,200 (8267.08 or 8,056.93)
And there were two Hot Wheels.I totally missed Legends of Valhalla. heh
The two Hot Wheels and Legends of Valhalla probably went for a bit too much. The others were a decent deal.And there were two Hot Wheels.
Side note, I didn't realize Pong was so popular, the first one was $4,500 and the second was right up there. I didn't note the price of it.
Yeah, it really SUCKS that pinball fans want pinball machines.I wish that enthusiasts would stop fueling this madness. The problem is that there will always be a few willing to piss away money.

so these are the final prices ?The Avengers $4251 ($5524.17 or $5668.28 depending how you pay)
Batman $6500 ($6446.75 or $8667.10 depending how you pay)
Cactus Canyon Remake $7100 ($9226.45 or $9467.14 depending how you pay)
Hot Wheels $6250 ($8121.88 or $8333.75 depending how you pay)
Auctioneers are trying to get top dollar. That is why online auctions have become so popular. It only takes two people wanting the same item to run the price up.I wish that enthusiasts would stop fueling this madness. The problem is that there will always be a few willing to piss away money.
I kinda think most of those people have bailed now. That really ramped up during covid, then things trended down as they dumped their "investments".Many have viewed pinball as a commodity instead of a toy for awhile but this is changing. That is why prices have spiked, well that and inflation to a degree. The market can only handle so many pins (space) and high prices (cost).
After seeing your post I checked them out online. I missed what they sold for - do you know what the Avengers and Cactus Canyon sold for?I'm surprised these are the lowest auction prices I've seen. Normally this close to the end they bump right up.
Even with a 15% buyers premium![]()
