I'm surprised these are the lowest auction prices I've seen. Normally this close to the end they bump right up.
Even with a 15% buyers premium
The Last Hot Wheels I saw sell locally when for 7k CAD and it took a couple weeks to sell

Also, it's 18% premium + 13% tax. The Avengers (2012) is interesting. There's a fully loaded Limited Edition in London for 6700 right now on Facebook. The auction is for a pro, has 2 non working parts and after premium and taxes it's already at 5400.

There are for sure people sitting waiting for the last 20 minutes.. and being soft close, means if someone bids in the last minute it's extended by a minute.... luch is right, these will go up in the final minutes.

Also they have a 15% payment fee for ANYTHING other than cash. Debit card is not cash. Bank transfer is not cash. Certified cheque is not cash. It's in the fine print.

So in the end you have closing price + 18% + 13% HST + 15% payment fee(unless you have a mountain of cash on hand and are local).

Prices will go up and also its a real soft market right now, so even if prices do remain low, this is an indication of the soft market we are in. This isn't COVID insanity anymore. Pins/arcades are sitting for months, and prices are being lowered. But auctions always bring out the dumbest prices, so whatever these machines end up going for is usually a rip-off.

Where are you seeing this extra 15% payment fee?

That doesn't look like an extra 15% on top... that looks like 18% if you use credit card. 15% if you use something else for the buyer premium.

I think you are correct. I saw it as 2 separate fees:

**All Goods Sold As-Is / Where Is** **18% Buyers Premium standard, 15% for Debit, Cheque, Email/Wire Transfers, Money Orders & Bank Draft payments**

A good example of the prices going up on these... The CCr just jumped from $5001 - $6000 in the time it took me and MrMikeman to reply to this thread about the buyers premium.

I already think the buyers premiums are kinda ridiculously high. If they charged a fee just to pay that would be absurd, but I wouldn't be all that shocked. Just look at Cineplex and their fee just to buy tickets online.

What version of CCR is it? Chrome trim, looks like the classic, lowest trim level?

From anything I can tell reading their fine print, I believe it is 18% BP + 15% for payment, plus HST? These auctions always seem good if you want to pick up a bunch of little stuff, maybe a coin changer machine.. but terrible if you're really hoping to snag a great deal on a pin..
