For Sale 1982 Bally TRON dedicated upright. This machine has had a lot of work and works perfectly. I has been very rock solid once all work was completed. I will wrap and strap to a pallet for pickup at no cost. Day and Ross can do tailgate pickup at my address. Buyer pays shipping costs, I will help as best I can. For a serious buyer a facetime review would be good. This one was a labor of love and fought me every inch of the way, certainly not for the light hearted. Asking $4500. Work completed includes:
Monitor - Cleaned, re-capped, and new flyback transformer. Adjusted and setup.
Cabinet - New decals including side art (a few line wrinkles, should have bought the phoenix ones), control overlay (Phoenix), and inner art (Phoenix). all other decals were good. New T-molding, painted.
Power Supply - New arcade power supply added with the arcade shop MCR adapter. This was more reliable than the original power supply board.
Wiring - All pins were replaced on the board stack end.
Board set - Board set was completely gone through including Data and Address busses. Work included custom made ribbon cables (bought a new set but they were not good, got the connectors and such from mouser and made a set, been rock solid), replaced caps, added sockets and replaced chips as needed. Also the big one that made the sound rock solid was changing the tantalum caps with electrolytic on the 12V bus.
Sound Board - Rebuilt new with kit.
Control Panel - Cleaned but no issues at all.
Any questions please ask. This is my last machine. Updated Price to $4000, tailgate pickup is around $125 and depot to depot to Ontario averages around $300 as a rough idea.
Thanks,
Dana
