Hey guys.

I am restoring (to working condition) a 1968 Bally Op-Pop-Pop that was stored very poorly for about 20 years.

The head glass graphics paint is peeling. I was thinking of taping off the score widows and game count and hitting the back with a clear lacquer to prevent further peeling. Or, now that it will be stored properly (in my house) should I just leave it alone?

Photos attached.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

TIA

Ben

That backglass is terrible, I would rate it about a 5. The only suggestion I can make is that you replace it with a Bgresto repro at around $500 CDN, if you think the game is worth the effort & money. Otherwise just live with it. You won't be able to make it any better without artistic skill, an air brush & a lot of patience.
