Not a bad idea Mike. I'm actually about to start restoring a BH myself. If you wanna go in together on it I'd be happy to take soem of the parts and help you sell off the rest. Seems a shame though. It's not exactly a parts machine with all that's already gone into it.

Agreed. The mod work on system 80s sounds like a bear. The fact that he's already done all of it is fantastic. This would definitley make a solid player and, with a little ingenuity and touch-up, I think it could be a pretty clean machine. I think a lot of those close-ups make it seem much worse...

If nothing is broken or worn, often a new coil sleeve, coil stop, return spring and adjusting the end of stroke switch so it doesn't engage too early is all you need. Also, inspect the flipper bushing and bat for cracks. New coils are expensive and usually not required. If the old coil sleeve...

Re: february list 198 pinballs !! I would agree. For your first pin, getting a project off a container is more likely to turn you off. Once you've been doing this a year or two and have gotten comfortable with basic maintenance and how these machines work, you might be ready to try something...

Welcome Rich, If you're looking for something in a DMD under $2K, there are a few choices, but not a whole lot. A BSD (Bram Stokers Dracula) could be had in that ballpark, but you'll have to be pretty lucky and fast. I always recommend a game like Fish Tales in that price range. It's not...
