Dang, the link to the story doesn't work... but this sounded like a great expereince for Megan (and her parents) I'm sure.
Well done!
When does it come out on DVD? :D
Re: FT: XM LE - Wolverine
Agreed. Seems only XM owners really know how good this game REALLY is now. It also suffered from a few other QC issues from factory that were eventually addressed, but bad code and the reverse "Pinside Effect" have kept this game down.
I was lucky that mine didn't...
I think I would remove the glass completely and just make a wooden frame and hang it on the wall as art... leaving the backbox empty. I'd add in a couple of shelves to the backbox and seal the door-frame shut. It could hang on the wall as-is.
The larger main cabinet will serve the same purpose...
I almost sold this game several months back after a lot of grief waiting for good code and watching other titles from Stern take the front seat.
Over the last few months I've been very pleasantly surprised with the new code that has been added. Even though the game has finally reached its...
Just wanted to share a little project idea that I'll be working on over the next few months.
I was fortunate enough to score this empty Countdown cabinet from TIMB (thanks Tim!) and figured it would make an awesome piece of furniture for my son's room.
This era of Gottlieb had some great...
I have the brief pleasure of housing a super rare game for a friend this week.
This excellent Gottlieb Neptune showed up on Saturday morning and will be leaving on Thursday :(
Not nearly enough time to fully enjoy it, but I am going to try my hardest.
It was pieced together and lovingly brought...
Thanks,
I did this over the course of a year to be fair. But yes, I have a busy schedule at the moment. Just knocking away at everything a little bit at a time.
Helps that I cloned myself too
Re: [Group Buy]: DMD Glare Guard "Knock Off"
That, and the fact that they look exactly like the original plastic ones on the market.

Now if only someone will do the same with pincab protectors
Well, I know he started assembly 2.5 months ago, but depending when he actually had the idea and started buying up parts, MM may have still been a $12K-$15K game then.
Probably seemed like a good bet at that stage :FP:
I'm perfectly happy with the plastic tile and vinyl "wood" floorign I put down Rob, but I think I would go with carpet for pure comfort.
My floor is very hard wearing and it works equally well in the gameroom and adjoining laundry... but your mileage may vary. I also have the teflon gliders and...
Re: [Group Buy]: DMD Glare Guard "Knock Off"
I've done the film thing... still prefer the guards. In a row of games, with all of them having these, you don't even see them
As for why I call this the "PREMIUM" edition, here is a rundown of all the changes I've made; large and small.
It is essentially an LE now, but with figures and no plaque.
-Shaker motor added (see my other thread on how this is done)
-Brass trim from Mike Chestnut
-Path of the Dead mod added...
I finally put the finishing touches on my LOTR last night. I'm calling it my PREMIUM edition ;)
Our resident enabler helped me pick up this very nice HUO example last Winter and I love the game... but I felt that it could use a few imporvements; most of them cosmetic.
I spent the last year...
LOL Scott!
I dub you our resident Yoda. :D
I may not always understand your cryptic posts... but in the end, I think I know what you're saying.
BTW. There is no spoon
