    shipping from Australia

I had to buy a bunch of parts for my Cactus Canyon. Wayne at pinballspareparts.au is the only guy with a lot of these parts. I think I shipped ramps and several other hard to find items in a large box... maybe 3' long. It cost me about $80 shipping and it did take a while... but no other surprises.

TAF Uncle Lester light up mod

Hmmm, Now, it's been maybe 7 years or so since I installed mine... but I definitely don't remember having to solder mine into the game. I'll have to take a peek under the hood later and see what's different. I'm assuming the lightbulb in the mouth still lights up when the ramps are qualified?

    SOLD LOTR Gold Picturs added

Re: Price Check LOTR Gold Was that "wear around the flippers" or "wear around the flipper buttons" ? Big difference. I know the LE had the brass oversized siderails, but I also nkow that Stern's brass plating was crap and often wore off. Nice standard LOTR start at around $5K. I'd say an LE...

WTB LIST: $2-3k Range - WWF, WCS, JP, TS, JM, LAH, JD

Congrats! Congo is a fun game. I've thought about owning that title before. If space wasn't an issue, probably would have already ;)

New Xmen Code 1.5 Finally Out!!

One could argue that it adds a certain level of risk, and some necessary skill and timing to prevent that from happening ;) That being said, I think the moving Iceman ramp has caused me to lose the ball SDTM maybe twice since owning the game almost a year now. I guess, if it bothered me that...

New Xmen Code 1.5 Finally Out!!

Where? I don't see them selling anywhere  I was trying to sell my LE Wolverine for a while. Barely a sniff. It seems the market on XM has been pretty soft since the game's poor release. I can only hope that having the code completed to this level of detail will bring the game's value...

How do I remove this clip?

Small needle nose pliers are definitely the way to go. Sure, you can get the specialized pliers for this application only, but not really necessary. If you can get one of the tips under the E-clip and another on top, they just pop off. Otherwise, use a big pair of pliers and just grab it tight...

Pingulp wanted , right side mount .

Not usually. Most people I have over are pretty respectful and careful. And, even if they did have an accident, I have vinyl 'wood' floor just for that reason.

Pingulp wanted , right side mount .

As much as I like the idea and functionality of these... I can't seem to bring myself to put them on my games. That being said, I do end up cleaning up a lot of empty bottles, cans and cups from under my games after a gathering.

    Predator Pinball artwork

Looks like a little more to update on Predator. Kevin has been pretty quiet lately. I suppose, now that he has final playfields, he's getting at least one game ready for unveiling. These were recently posted by Matt from Back Alley. Parts for all 250 games have arrived and are now getting ready...

The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

Well, I had a little 'pin-sum' gathering this Saturday for some local (and not-so local) friends. I was fortunate to find a West end alternative for our regular late night post pinball dim-sum; Tremendous Chinese Restaurant in Mississauga. It was a good time. But the gathering date was pretty...

    HOW TO?: wire ramps cleaning?

I don't know. I still think it's a crap shoot. Doug said there was noticeable 'running' on the IJ wireforms. When I first found those guys I gave them my IJ wirforms too and they were fine, but other stuff was not done to the same level. I think I just got lucky is all. The fact that the can't...

    HOW TO?: wire ramps cleaning?

I agrree with Scott. If I'm going to be staring at it, I want it to be Chestnut. I've found and used a decent local place, but now I'll only use them for anything underneath the playfield and inside the cabinet. Their work is not of the quality I would want for the upper playfield.

Re: Missing the Thrill of the hunt -WTB: GODZILLA, TOM, ACDC Hmmm. Guess I should post this on the other forum too ;) Thanks for the reminder Scott

Missing the Thrill of the hunt -WTB: GODZILLA, TOM, ACDC etc

Re: Missing the Thrill of the hunt -WTB: GODZILLA, TOM, ACDC Nah, I'm pretty content and could easily stick with what I've got... plus I have a few projects to keep me going for years. But, there's always that thrill of chasing a game down. Luckily, my list is a relatively small one ;)

Missing the Thrill of the hunt -WTB: GODZILLA, TOM, ACDC etc

I've picked up a few new games recently... but they sorta came to me. I haven't really had the thrill of chasing down a pin in a while, so here it goes. Of the titles out there that I have not owned, these few stand out. -Sega Godzilla -Theatre of Magic -ACDC (would prefer a premium)...

    playfield restoration

Poolman is your best bet. Not sure if he's on this forum... but definitely on MAACA. I do that work as well, but I'm way overloaded. Given your distance and the cost to ship, I'd think you're better off sending it to the US anyway. Chris Hutchins would be my first choice, then there's Ron...
