Yeah, we must be hearing different sounds I guess lol… IMO, there’s too much pronounced carnival type sounds in most of the gameplay videos.
There may be tons of custom music; but it’s the redundant TS4/Wonka sounds which IMO seem to take away from the songs.
Hope developed code puts more...
Well, there’s an ass for every seat lol. Just joshing ofcourse… but at least you’re not buying it cause your significant other said it’s a must have…!
This is a crazy hobby now with the insta-losses.
Yeah, for Harry Potter, the rainbow light show combined with the carnival-type sounds, doesn’t exactly match the often darker HP universe. JJP love their hundreds of LEDs strobing out.
These will be around & available for years for purchasers to make a fully informed decision to proceed.
Thankfully, the ole days of missing out on a limited release & flipping are over.
Particularly, for JJP’s model of essentially unlimited LEs & CEs, buyers can now take their time with this...
Agreed with Halfwasted that some of the sounds are kinda slot machine-like. More so when I watched the gameplay video a few times.
The sounds remind me of Wonka or TS for some reason.
That can still be improved with code.
The game does look fun with pretty smooth flow and immersive theme...
I’m thinking of heading over in a few Saturdays. How busy does it get on a Saturday night?
Looking forward to checking out the collection & making a night of it.
Any specific closing time?
Yeah, music pins are amongst the best games released. Rush, MET & ACDC are fantastic games.
Stern continues to release the highest adrenaline experience. Notwithstanding prices are out of whack from all manufacturers.
I think the new MET LE looks awesome and I still miss my ole loaded premium at times. However, shelling out around $20k CAD for an LE is just so pricey.
If I was in the market for another MET, I would definitely rather have the new tricked out remastered release.
@ Pinballjah, agree that the LE market has all but entirely changed since Covid. Stern making 1000 LEs at considerably higher prices means the high demand is now all but dissipated. The days of buying & flipping these at a profit are likely gone and the vast majority of the LEs going forward...
Pf geometry looks very interesting but the sounds, music & callouts need improvement IMO. LCD assets didn't seem all that inspiring.
Game looked very punishing but agreed with above, perhaps a levelling issue.
Could still be very fun to flip; looking froward to playing this and to see how code...
Another cool looking JJP which at first look, appears visually stunning.
So few of these will likely land here due to pricing for their entry level game at USD $12k. Similar to EJ.
Looking forward to seeing the upcoming streams for both Avatar & X-Men.
Regardless, pricing (especially in $Cdn)...
Personally, I prefer to be quoted in $USD and then convert the funds myself at hopefully a better rate. In any event, it would be great to see our currency strengthen this fall.
So a NIB EJ is around CAD $18k all in with taxes and this is $16k. If so, this seems like a decent deal. A bit surprised this isn’t sold already given the seemingly bigger demand for the title.
Chaz, if you don’t mind my asking, why didn’t you simply purchase a NIB EJ PE instead of recently buying a GZ 70th? Both of these are & will be available for quite some time
Regardless, GZ is awesome and worse case, you have a great pin to play.
Not a theme of interest but always cool to see new Stern releases (much more so than JJP or any other pin manufacturer).
Danger did a decent job on FF so hopefully he can bring something innovative to this title.
